Jimena Tello was born in Buenos Aires and when she was four, she moved to France with her family. She studied Editorial Design at the École Estienne, and Children’s Illustration at the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg. She set up her own illustration studio in Argentina, where she teaches professional illustration lessons. She was selected for the illustrators’ exhibition at the Bratislava Biennial 2011 and for the catalogue of Argentine illustrators presented at the Bologna Book Fair 2008. Her books have been published in Spain, Argentina, France, Mexico, Korea, Poland, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. Mum at Full Galop is her first picture book as both author and illustrator.
